The center of the school are open split level staircases and galleries leading to the classrooms.

An extension is under construction with 30 classrooms and an auditorium. The community of Unterhaching will heat the school by geothermic energy. A 200 meter earth canal system brings naturally cooled fresh air to the auditorium avoiding energy consuming air conditioning plants.
