Bad Reichenhall is situated in a valley of the Alps close to the Austrian border. The spa is famous for its saltern and is frequented throughout the year.
The spa building accomodates administration, lobby, activity and reading rooms, a theater for 600 people, a casino with bar, café, a restaurant and shops.
In its centre there is a fountain. A promenade leads to the spa park.
